Changing your blogspot template to 3 columns

I've been wanting to change my blog to a 3 column template, and came across an invaluable website at the Blogspot group at Blog Catalog. Jamiz at Lawnydesignz.blogspot.com has instructions that are so easy, I was able to accomplish the change on my first try. I highly recommend his site if you're thinking of changing over to a 3 column format for your blog.

    Hi Chris
I like the new design you have here. The three column template works well with your site.

Nice to see you had no problems getting it going.

    Take care

    Hi Steve,
Thanks for the kind words. It was much easier than I thought it would be, thanks to Jamiz's instructions. Now one of these days I'll have to convert my cat blog too.

    Hi Waliz,
I ran across other instructions on how to add a 3rd column but when I tried to edit the HTML code on my template, nothing seemed to match up. That's why these instructions are so easy for us novices to follow--they match exactly.

I just came by to visit and noticed your new look. It's fantastic and the three columns really looks great. Thanks for sharing the secret with all of us.

thanks Emma. It actually took me longer playing around with color schemes than it took to set up the code for the 3 columns.
