The rescue story of Louie

We have received another happy ending rescue story, about Louie, the little brother of Gus the blue heeler. Louie is an adorable young boy, full of life and has a real penchant for rearranging the rugs around the house. Here is his story:

"We adopted Louie also. He was in a litter of 9 but 3 died. All of them were adopted very quickly but Louie was returned since he was deaf and I guess his new owners just didn't want to take care of him.. We have him now and he is quite the instigator but he is really loved. We would like to thank the Justin Animal Shelter for all their hard work..."

Gus and Louie have an amusing blog as told by Gus of their many exploits. The blog has many cute pictures of the two of them with clever narrations. And the fact that Louie can't hear doesn't slow him down. Thank goodness his disability didn't matter to these kind people who gave him a second chance at a happy life. If you're a dog lover, you'll enjoy reading this one.

One need to have a very big heart to adopt a pup that can't hear. Gus and Louie's family are great people. Hope that there will be more of such people around.

    Luv,

    Hi Snowball,
I know there are countless people out there who open their hearts to dogs in need, and I hope we hear from more of them.

Thank you so much for adding us to your blog. I told Louie he was famous now. He also has a sister that has had to go through surgery for fluid on the brain. She is also blind but Suzanne at the Justin Animal shelter has taken her in and given her lots of needed love.

What a lovely story. Yes, been reading on Gus and Louie's blog, finding both of them very entertaining. Most importantly, they have such a loving home to be in.

    Gus and Louie,
It was our pleasure telling Louie's story. We were reading on your blog about Louie's sister's ordeal too. Lucky for her that Suzanne stepped in and gave her a good life. I never cease to be amazed at the outpouring of help from strangers when it comes to someone in need - especially for the animals. It's wonderful

Thanks for stopping around again Sparky, Crikit and Ginger - you are such great pups. Rosie's hogging mom's lap all the time, but when I get a chance to break in, I'll give her a lick from you guys. Merry Christmas!
