With two dogs and three cats living under one roof, there's bound to be some behavior problems that crop up from time to time. We recently had a problem with our two older cats not getting along, and I have a separate post coming next week dedicated to how we solved the problem.
While researching how best to handle the situation, I ran across a new resource at the ASPCA called the "virtual pet behaviorist." This is a free service provided by experts at the ASPCA. All you do is select the type of pet you have, then type in the problem you're having, and up pops very thorough information on the subject. I have added the link to my sidebar so that you can access it easily.
You may find you need some veterinary advice for your pet; maybe your vet's office is closed for the evening or weekend, or you haven't yet chosen a veterinarian and an emergency situation arises. Here is the link for the site where you can get answers to your pet questions from a veterinarian: free pet care advice .
I hope you find these sites helpful.

Cool thanks for the linky it should come in handy :D
I'll have to look into those. We've got a grumpy, nine-year-old cat here who hates the other cats, hates the dogs and isn't too fond of our children either. She adores my wife and me, but that's it.
April,
Thanks for stopping by - glad you can get some use from the sites.
Hawg,
My 2 grumpy older cats have responded well with a natural product called Pet Essences available at Only Natural Pet.com - you just add a few drops to their food or water and it balances their moods - I started noticing a difference in just 2 days.
Chris
I am going to check this out. We have 2 cats and 1 dog with serious issues .Could always use more help. thanks.
Pretty useful link. Has some good articles to read. We have a white male boxer ourselves. He is 2 1/2 years old and loves to play. He demands non-stop action and sometimes pulls on leash especially when other dogs are around. We have to work on this issue.
